About the Wanderer

Aron — an amateur photographer from Norway, roaming the North in an old Volvo. He is drawn to the silence of the fjörður (fjord), the endless light of the polar day, and the steam rising from geothermal springs.

This blog, Fjordur, is his travel diary — an attempt to capture the elusive nordic light in words and frames. From black sand beaches to volcanic highlands, every story carries a whisper of eldur (fire) and ice.

His motto? „Þetta reddast“ — everything will be alright. It's the quiet resilience of the North.
